
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PRIVATE HIRE
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
A redeemable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the booking. If the deposit is not received by the due date, the booking may be cancelled.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made in writing via email. If cancelled:
More than 28 days prior: No further charge beyond deposit.
14–28 days prior: 50% of the total minimum spend / hire fee payable.
Less than 14 days: 100% of the minimum spend / hire fee is due.
USE OF THE VENUE
The Client is responsible for the conduct of their guests. The hire covers exclusive/private use of the agreed area(s) for the specified time. Set-up and clear-down times must be agreed in advance; overruns may incur additional charges.
DAMAGES AND LIABILITY
The Client is liable for any damage to the venue, furniture, equipment, or fixtures caused by themselves or their guests. A damage deposit may be required and refunded after inspection. The venue accepts no responsibility for personal items lost, damaged, or stolen during the event.
LICENSING, MUSIC AND NOISE
The venue operates under licensing laws governing noise levels, alcohol service, and capacity. Music must finish by the licensable time, unless otherwise authorised in writing. DJs and performers must comply with venue volume restrictions and safety guidance.
FOOD AND DRINK
No external food or beverages are permitted unless pre-approved in writing. All catering and bar services must be provided or approved by Breakthrough Bars Group.
UNDERAGE GUESTS
Guests under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult before 9pm. No alcohol will be served to anyone under the age of 18 — valid ID may be required (our venues operate a challenge 25 policy). Any breach of this policy may result in immediate termination of the event.
SECURITY
The venue may require licensed security staff for certain events, which will be discussed at the time of booking. Security staff are present to protect guests, staff, and the premises and must be treated with respect at all times. Failure to comply with security staff instructions may lead to ejection from the premises.
CLEANING AND WASTE
The venue must be left in a reasonably clean condition. Any excessive cleaning, spillage, or rubbish left behind may incur a cleaning charge. Confetti, glitter, or similar materials are not permitted unless agreed in advance.
HEALTH AND SAFTEY
Fire exits must remain unobstructed at all times. Clients and guests must comply with all health and safety instructions and signage within the venue. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor areas. The venue maintains the right to pause or cancel the event if safety is compromised.
FORCE MAJEURE
Breakthrough Bars Group is not liable for cancellations, delays, or performance failures due to events beyond its control, including (but not limited to) adverse weather, acts of God, power outages, government orders, strikes, or illness.
TERMINATION
The venue reserves the right to cancel or terminate a booking at any time if: The Client breaches the terms of this contract. The safety of guests, staff, or the premises is at risk. Payment terms have not been met.
